Saturday, June 27
the Tour de France would start.

Normally you we're busy filling in your Tour pool...
But this year; you have to be patient for two months.
But what to do for the next three weeks without Tour on TV?
You've never had so much spare time!

We give you five tips to get through this time:

• Irresistible, that powernap at your couch while you are watching a flat stage.. Even if it is only fifteen minutes, your eyes will close and afterwards you’re full of energy! As an alternative we have devised a delicious veggie power Frappuccino. Super healthy for a nice boost!
What do you need?

One cup of espresso, a frozen banana,
two tablespoons of cocoa and four cubes of ice.
Add everything together in the blender,
shake for two minutes and immediately absorb!

• Sleeping is one of the main keys to succes to win the Tour, and what could be better to sleep under the roof with a real Tour de France-hero? Make it happen and book a (cycling) trip to the pension of former professional rider Johnny Hoogerland!

• Looking back on fun facts about the Tour,
nice to spend some time on!

Like this:
Did you know that six years after winning five gold medals in speed skating at the Lake Placid Winter Olympics, Eric Heiden started the Tour in 1986?! He didn’t made it to Paris, but nevertheless he was very grateful to be able to pursue his dreams of being a professional cyclist.

• The highlight of a stage is often the finish.
Will the early escapees make it or will they be caught just before the finish line by a thunderous peloton? Most of the time the finish is around the end of the afternoon and your place is in front of the TV.
Our alternative for now?
Cooking! Be inspired by the menus of La Grupetta, Koen de Kort's restaurant in Andorra.

egg and sweet potato chips

Of course, you can simply give the yellow jersey to yourself these weeks!
It’s up to you whether you do it ceremonially on a stage with flowers,
kisses and champagne..
