It’s Strade Bianche time!

Today it will be biting dust or slog through the mud in Tuscany. It’s Strade Bianche time! Although the name suggests a rich history, the race has only existed since 2007. The finish line is in the old town of Siena. It’s obvious the first winner listened carefully to the advice from his uncle, how to climb the steep road to the fortress. Yes indeed, in 1978 the legendary Patron Francesco Moser won the Giro stage to Siena. His nephew Moreno followed his example by winning the first Strade Bianche.
