LE PATRON X RWANDAN CYCLING CULTURE

Rwanda, the land of a thousand hills, is world-renowned for its exceptional coffee and a cycling culture deeply rooted in everyday life.

This connection becomes clear when you look closer. Both begin at the source. Both demand dedication, patience and precision. And both are defined as much by the journey as by the destination: the effort of climbing another hill, the discipline of pushing beyond your limits, and the reward of coming together over an exceptional coffee to share the ride, the stories and the sense of achievement. We all know, cycling and coffee are a way of life, inseparably connected.

It is this shared mindset that brought Le Patron and the Rwanda Cycling Federation together. A partnership built on shared values rather than sponsorship alone. Together, we provide the men’s, women’s and junior national teams with the same premium apparel trusted at the highest level of the sport, creating true equality in performance.

 Building on the partnership

Building on this foundation, our collaboration has grown stronger since the unforgettable 2025 UCI Road World Championships in Kigali. We now look ahead to Canada 2026. We will follow the journey through the eyes of Rwanda’s riders: exceptionally talented athletes who continue to overcome limited access to racing experience, tactical knowledge, training and nutrition. Their story is one of resilience, ambition and pride.

Beyond apparel, we invest in the long-term development of cycling in Rwanda. Because true performance starts with opportunity—and the most powerful stories begin at the source.

Ultimately, this is what unites cycling and coffee for us: the drive to keep moving forward, the patience to respect the process, and the joy of sharing the moment when the effort is done. From the first climb, to the line and then to the final cup.
